In 2006, Château Gémeillan is created and breathes life into an urge to express a new facet of our soils. Our selection of grapes which grow on superficial gravelly soils creates a wine characterized by its roundness and its generosity.
Our Gémeillan is aged one year in French oak barrels: the Empyreumatic aromas acquired during the ageing of our wine are balanced by the intensity of its fruit.
Since 1995, in order to produce our Château Saint Hilaire, we have been selecting the grapes from our finest terroirs, located on the edge of the estuary, on deep gravelly soils and a heavy clay subsoil. Patience and precision are the keywords characterizing the production of our wine.
We seek to extract only the finest aromas and tannins from our grapes which are then aged for twelve months in French oak barrels. Thus, this wine presents a powerful bouquet with complex and balanced aromas that are going to age well. This cuvee is classified Cru Bourgeois since 2003.
